As Goldfields Explosives continued supporting the mining and resources sector, the business recognised the importance of strengthening its governance and management systems to support future growth. Rather than starting from scratch, the objective was to understand the current level of maturity, identify compliance gaps and develop practical systems that could be embedded by the internal HSEQ team.
Spring Safety Consultants partnered with Goldfields Explosives to undertake a comprehensive Integrated Management System (IMS) gap analysis and HSEQ legal compliance inspection. We assessed existing processes against ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, reviewed legislative compliance, identified opportunities for improvement, and developed practical IMS documentation to support implementation. Working alongside the HSEQ Lead, our focus was on creating systems that reflected operational reality and could be maintained as the business evolved.
The result was a clear roadmap for certification, stronger governance, improved legislative compliance and a practical Integrated Management System that provides the foundation for continual improvement, operational consistency. Spring Safety are proud to have supported the company towards triple certification.
