Congratulations to the first Spring Safety Consultants quarry workers to undertake the short course – Introduction to Psychosocial Hazards in the Workplace!
Our client Stoneridge Quarry is really proactive in creating a safe, healthy and happy workplace for its workers, some of whom have worked at the quarry for 30 years! As legislation has changed, Stoneridge Quarry has responded, keeping its workers updated and prepared for situations that may arise on the job, just like a well-oiled front-end loader!
Sonia Ceglinski and Sophia Rossow designed, developed and delivered the course on site, conducting back-to-back sessions, so as not to significantly impact on production of limestone blocks and the busy running of trucks into the quarry.
The feedback was interesting with, 82% rating the course content as useful, from an audience where 9 out of 11 participants were operators of plant and machinery, we are pretty happy with that statistic!
